BLOG: Try some freedom pizza
 Wednesday - February 03, 2010 | Author: Tracey Weiss

Big surprises come in small storefronts.

Just when you want to classify something as weak or below your standards, try not to forget that the biggest of surprises can often come from the smallest of expectations.

I am specifically referring to Liberty Pizza, a small storefront restaurant operating in the tight little strip center on Park Road that borders the UConn Thrift Shop.

They deliver, literally and figuratively.

The husband and I were delightfully surprised at our order of wings, which we asked for a little extra crispy.

They were cooked to our specifications and came with the proper accroutements, such as carrots and celery and a decent little mini-bucket of ranch dressing.

A definite thumbs-up.

Pizza is not bad, either.

It ain't Pepe's, but who is?

Liberty Pizza has the right amount of ingredients required to satisfy your craving for cheese, sauce and salt.

The price is right,  you want decent food and you should support your local pizza delivery guy.

Call Liberty.
