Nifty slips from record highs to end at 10147.55; Sensex also falls


After resuming higher, the Sensex slipped into the red, before settling down 1.86 points, or 0.01 per cent, at 32,400.51.

Tata Steel advanced 1.4 percent after the miner entered into a joint venture with Germany's Thyssenkrupp to merge their European steel businesses. The National Stock Exchange Nifty also gained 71.45 points and was trading at a record high of 10,156.85 in the morning session.
