Friday will be warm and humid, with the possibility of showers and thunderstorms looming overhead, the National Weather Service reports. This line of storms will weaken across the northern Adirondack Mountains and Champlain Valley late this evening with localized gusty winds possible.

Sunday, there is a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 1 p.m., the weather service said.

Highs will generally be in the 80s each day for the remainder of the week.
