DawnNews reported that officials confirmed more than nine bodies have been shifted to the hospital.

A witness, who was in the building at the time of the explosion, said that she heard a loud noise and saw smoke coming out of a van.

Mohammad Khurasani, purported spokesman for Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), in a statement claimed that a motorbike-riding suicide bomber targeted "dozens" of policemen in Lahore.
