Jeff Teague to Timberwolves

The 26-year-old point guard stands 6-feet, 4-inches tall and has averaged 10 points per game over the course of his career.

Two people with knowledge of the details say the Pacers have agreed to trade Paul George to the Thunder for Victor Oladipo and Domantas Sabonis.

With the Jazz likely to lose Gordon Hayward in free agency, and now George Hill, they could be ready to build for the future. The motivation for this thinking is surely influenced by the need to pitch Hayward. Jon Krawczynski of AP reports that owner Glen Taylor "resisted" any Rubio trades until immediately before, which suggests that a worthwhile party became an interested one.

In an ideal world, a trade like this should work whether or not Hayward ultimately decides to return, and this one should fit the bill either way. As a longtime advanced stats darling, the value Rubio brings to his new team won't as much be seen in highlight plays as it will over the long-term results. Teague will make roughly $19 million a year over the three years. As far as placeholders go, Rubio is not prohibitively expensive in terms of salary or length, and he bears no major red flags from a personality standpoint.

Google Ends Gmail Ad Scanning
While Google will no longer scan your email to sell advertisements, you can still expect "smart functions "to continue". Google's Gmail is putting an end to the controversial practice of scanning consumer emails for targeted ad campaigns.

Rubio also missed 60 games in 2014-15 with a severely sprained ankle that required surgery. He's at no risk of injury-related decline. Surround Rubio with shooting and the equation is entirely different, such as letting him replace John Wall on the Wizards where he can operate with Bradley Beal and Otto Porter on the wings. As it would be hard financially to bring back the trio of Hill, Ingles and Hayward, it certainly looks like Jazz management have made the decision to go all in on the latter two.

It's unavoidable that Rubio will be a draw on the Jazz's offensive workings in a way that Hill never was. The pick is top-14 protected.

To acquire Rubio, the Jazz gave the Timberwolves a choice of the first round of the 2018 draft. Utah received the pick when it traded Enes Kanter in a three-team deal in 2015.

On the negative side though, Rubio's weaknesses have been well-documented for years now.

Israel strikes targets in Syria for 2nd day
Israel on Saturday responded harshly to errant Syrian army fire that hit the Israeli side of the Golan Heights. The projectiles were spillover from the fighting near Syria's disputed border with Israel, the army said.

Below are the three-point percentages from last season of the point guards who are available free agents this offseason.

Rubio has two years left on his contract.

A big player acquisition also came in Minnesota with the Timberwolves fleecing of the Chicago Bulls for National Basketball Association star wing Jimmy Butler and the 16th pick for Kris Dunn, Zach LaVine and the 7th pick in the draft. He's a perennial leader among point guards in defensive rating according to ESPN's real plus-minus (RPM), and his overall plus-2.4 RPM projection for 2017-18 is on par with Holiday, just behind Hill (plus-2.8) and ahead of Teague (plus-1.5).
