Officers responding to a report of a possible burglary in Spring on Tuesday led to the seizure of almost 600 pounds of meth pops with an approximate street value close to $1,000,000.

Inside the home, deputies allegedly found almost $1 million worth of meth-filled candies- some treats molded in the form of popular fictional characters such as Batman, R2D2 and Yoda.

They arrested two people who were carrying out the lollipops in the shape of Star Wars, Batman and other Hollywood characters. When police pulled up to the house, they found a man and a woman packing their vehicle so full of drugs that they were struggling to close the back hatch.

The suspects, identified as Evonne Christine Mick, 36, and David Andrew Salinas, 21, both face a charge of possession with intent to manufacture or deliver a controlled substance.

Click2Houston reported the lollipops were likely sold for $20 to $40 each. If they were not sold directly to a child, what if these lollipops were dropped anywhere in the neighborhood?
