Sixties style icon and Rolling Stone muse Anita Pallenberg has passed away at the age of 73.

News of her death was formally announced on social media by her close friends, including Stella Schnabel, daughter of American painter and filmmaker Julian Schnabel. But her relationship with Jones, who became abusive, only lasted two years.

As well as dating Brian and Keith, she is also said to have had a fling with Mick Jagger.

Cosby jury hunkers down for 3rd day in sex assault case
Jurors appeared exhausted and spent when they chose to call it quits late Tuesday after about 16 hours of deliberations. Though dozens of women have accused Cosby of sexual misconduct, only Constand's accusations led to criminal charges.

She also appeared alongside Marianne Faithfull in a classic episode of Absolutely Fabulous, playing The Devil to Faithfull's God.

Pallenberg was born in Rome in 1944 to German and Italian parents, the BBC reports. Perhaps her most memorable on-screen role was in Performance, staring alongside Mick Jagger. Richards has said that they both were addicted to heroin and Pallenberg was charged in the 1977 drug arrest; the pair went to rehab rather than prison, according to Variety.

After achieving sobriety, Pallenberg spent the latter part of her life developing a love of horticulture and art.

During their 12 year relationship, Pallenberg and Richards had three children, Marlon, Angela and Tara - who died of sudden infant death syndrome at just 10 weeks in 1976. I will love you forever, dearest Anita. "Anita got through, she was victorious, she could never be seen in anything other than her own right".

Pallenberg was born on April 6, 1942.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, Richards said he never planned to leave Anita. Pallenberg ended their relationship in 1967 after Jones had become violent towards her while the two were vacationing in Morocco. She was expelled from boarding school, aged sixteen, and went work as a model, travelling across Europe and the U.S., before arriving at Andy Warhol's Factory.

Anita Pallenberg led the kind of extraordinary life that the average person can only dream of having. We had good times & bad times, but I only remember the good times now. "She scared the trousers off me!" But the life did not appeal to her.

When I got the news of her death, I was at a Nick Cave show in New York City, which was really the flawless place to mourn a bad seed like Anita - I sang "From Her To Eternity" extra loud in her honor.
