A slight chance for showers, thunderstorms throughout the weekend

Tonight there is a slight chance of showers between midnight and 1 a.m., then a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1 a.m. Skies will be partly cloudy, with a low around 66 degrees.

On Sunday, the sun will rise at 5:58:10 a.m. and set at 8:59:48 p.m. Tuesday won't be almost as warm as Monday with highs staying in the 60s. Winds SE 5 miles per hour. Highs will be in the mid-80s as north winds will blow around 5 miles per hour, becoming east this afternoon.

KMTV meteorologist Ryan McPike called for a 30 percent to 40 percent chance of precipitation today. A few thunderstorms will also be possible.

Tuesday will likely have showers and thunderstorms. Low: 70. High: 90. Wind: E 10 miles per hour. To the north and west, clusters of rain and storms are expected to develop and move around the center of that low to the east.
