LG today introduced an exciting new mid-range Android smartphone that joins its X line, dubbed the X Venture. While in Glove Mode the LG X venture will recognize taps and swipes made with gloves on. It is powered by the capable Snapdragon 435 octa-core 64-bit processor inside, coupled with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard memory. Moreover, the storage is expandable via MicroSD card. Moving on to imaging, the LG X Venture features a 16MP snapper at the back and a 5MP resolution selfie snapper on the front. This allows the large battery to charge from 0% to 50% in just 48 minutes.

Now let's talk about the "adventure" credentials of the X Venture. Sensors, meanwhile, are vast and include things like gyroscope, accelerometer, and barometer; there's also a QuickButton, fingerprint sensor, FM radio, and Outdoor Essentials. According to the tech specs, the device has passed 14 separate MIL-STD 810G tests, a USA military standard that address things like intense pressure, extreme exposure, heavy vibration, and harsh weather conditions. The handset will be good in up to 1.5 meters of water for up to 30 minutes. In the upcoming weeks LG also plans to launch the X Venture in the Middle East, Europe, Latin America, Asia, and Africa.
