Though there are accusations that Mishra is acting at the behest of the Bharatiya Janata Party, no proof or evidence has so far been brought to the ground to substantiate the allegations.

The remarks come after Mishra today submitted documents to the Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) to back his allegations that Kejriwal had delayed the probe into a Rs 400 crore tanker scam. Today, he challenged Kejriwal to fight him in an election. "Bless me. I am filing an FIR against you", Mishra said while reading out the letter in front of the media in Delhi.

The AAP chief tweeted in Hindi on Monday evening, saying: "Truth will prevail".

Denouncing Kejriwal and his governance the protestors carrying banners and placards with anti-AAP slogans, marched in front of his residence and demanded the Delhi chief to step down from the coveted post following allegations made by his cabinet minister Kapil Mishra.

"Day before yesterday, I saw Satyendra Jain giving Rs. two crore to Arvind Kejriwal and I wasn't able to sleep the entire night", Mishra said in a press briefing here after meeting Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal.
