The device has dual cameras and support for dual Nano SIM cards for worldwide travel. The first, the Jelly, comes with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage. The 950 mAh battery might sound like a joke, but for a tiny device such as the Jelly it should be enough to last for a full three days of normal use and roughly one week in standby on a single charge. The Jelly smartphone will come in two variants, which the Jelly and the Jelly Pro. And of course, you have better optimizations for a smoother experience and enhanced battery life.

Jelly is manufactured by Chinese company Unihertz, but will ship worldwide to interested parties for $59 a pop in three colors. In those instances, the Jelly could be their companion.

Though it won't really fix the hard limitations of the Honor 6X's hardware, this Android Nougat and EMUI 5.0 update goes a long way in adding value to the mid-range device that will make its relatively low price tag all the more worthwhile.

"Jelly is created to be small, but for a reason", the team wrote. The Jelly phone project is now running on Kickstarter, but already reached its funding goal within an hour.

And if these specs are not up to the mark for you, the company has also introduced Jelly Pro which comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The idea of a smartphone fitting into your coin pocket has people intrigued. If you're interested in supporting the handset, you can donate as little as $5 to the effort and get your name on the company's newsletter.

If you're interested in getting one, you can head over to the Kickstarter page and buy one for $69.
